S.E.M. wire, or Super Enamelled (varnished) wire, is a conductor coated with a durable varnish applied at high temperature. It comes in aluminum or copper.
Features:
Smooth, insulating varnish coating with excellent dielectric strength.
Varnish types like Terebec or Isomelt polyester, rated as Class C insulation for high heat resistance .
Available in round wire (0.3 – 5 mm) and strip form (0.5 – 4 mm thick) .
